A cartridge carries the stylus that reads the groove of a record and turns it into an electrical signal, so it shapes much of what a turntable sounds like. Listed here is the Audio-Technica AT95E, a moving magnet phonograph cartridge made for turntables with a half inch mount. If you are replacing a worn cartridge, check the mount type on your tonearm headshell, then confirm that your amplifier has a phono input.
