Direct Boxes

Direct boxes turn a high impedance instrument signal into a balanced low impedance one that a mixer or stage box can take over a long XLR cable, which keeps hum and level loss out of the run. The Behringer units stocked here cover both approaches. Passive models such as the DI400P need no power and handle hot signals from active basses and keyboards, while active models such as the DI100 and DI20 run on phantom power and lift weaker pickups.
