Headphone amplifiers split one audio feed into several headphone outputs, each with its own volume control, so a band, a classroom or a control room can all listen at once. Mackie covers most of this range with the desktop HM-4 and the rack mount HM-400 and HM-800, and LD Systems adds the HPA 4 and HPA 6. The Behringer Powerplay P1 and MicroMON MA400 are single channel amps for one listener, worn or set beside the player.
