Sonos speakers join your home network and play together from room to room. The One SL is the compact model, sold in black or white and made without a microphone on board, while the Play:5 is the larger one, with more low end for a main living space. Start with room size, then how many rooms you want covered, since two of the same model can be set up as a stereo pair in one room.
