Headworn mics hold the capsule a fixed distance from the mouth, so the level stays even while a presenter or singer moves around. Most models here ship as complete wireless systems with a bodypack and receiver, including the Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3, the Audio-Technica System 10 and ATW-1441 sets, the LD Systems U305 BPH and U505 BPH, and the Samson Stage XPD2. Wired options exist as well: the Shure SM35-XLR runs straight into a mixer through its XLR preamp.
