The Audac IMEO2 is a professional soundbar built for rooms where a full speaker install is overkill but laptop speakers are not enough: meeting rooms, classrooms, showrooms and waiting areas. One bar on the wall, one power lead, and the room has sound.
Three-way, with the subwoofer already inside
Six drivers across three ways, two 1.5 inch high frequency, two 2 inch mid and two 2.5 inch low frequency, driven at 60 W RMS in total (2 x 15 W plus 1 x 30 W). Frequency response runs 40 Hz to 20 kHz and maximum SPL is 90 dB at one metre, so speech stays intelligible at the back of a room without a separate sub on the floor.
Connects to whatever is in the room
HDMI with ARC and CEC so it follows the display, optical and coaxial SPDIF, USB playback for MP3, FLAC and WAV, a 3.5 mm jack input, and Bluetooth 4.2 with a device ID you can set yourself, which matters when several rooms in the same building are in range of each other.
Set it once and leave it
Preset equaliser modes optimise the bar for presentation, music or video. Input and volume controls can be locked so the settings survive the room, and hotel mode suits multi-unit installations. An IR remote is included.
