The Audio-Technica ATM75cW Cardioid Condenser Headworn Microphone + 2000 Series Wireless Body-pack System (ATW-2110b) is a professional-grade audio solution designed for performers and professionals requiring hands-free operation, such as drummers, keyboardists, and guitarists. This system combines the ATM75cW headworn microphone with the reliable ATW-2110b wireless system, ensuring clear, high-quality sound with freedom of movement.
The ATM75cW microphone features a cardioid polar pattern that enhances sound isolation by minimizing background noise, making it ideal for live performances. Its low-visibility headband ensures a stable and comfortable fit, with a pivot-mounted flexible boom that can be worn on either the left or right side. The microphone offers a frequency response of 100 Hz to 13 kHz, delivering crisp and accurate audio reproduction. It comes with a 55" miniature cable terminated with a cW-style locking 4-pin connector, designed to pair seamlessly with Audio-Technica’s wireless body-pack transmitters.
The ATW-2110b wireless system includes the ATW-R2100b receiver and ATW-T210a body-pack transmitter, operating on UHF frequencies (Band I: 487.125 to 506.500 MHz; Band S: 508.125 to 526.825 MHz). The system features a true diversity receiving system for reliable signal reception, minimizing dropouts, and offers a 100-meter (300 feet) operating range in open environments. With a frequency response of 100 Hz to 15 kHz (+1 dB, -3 dB) and total harmonic distortion of less than 1%, this system ensures high-fidelity audio.
The body-pack transmitter supports switchable RF power output (30 mW high, 10 mW low) and operates for up to 7 hours on high power or 9 hours on low power using two 1.5V AA alkaline or 1.2V AA NiMH batteries (not included). The receiver is equipped with a balanced XLR output, an unbalanced 1/4" output, and a two-position attenuator switch (0/-12 dB) for flexible audio level control. Its rugged design and included accessories, such as flexible UHF antennas, rack-mount adapters, and an AC adapter, make it suitable for both portable and fixed installations.
This system is license-free for most users, subject to restrictions on interference and power levels. It operates within a temperature range of 5°C to 45°C (41°F to 113°F), with performance optimized for professional applications requiring durability and reliability.
