Designed to simplify deployment, it eliminates the complexities of frequency coordination, intermodulation issues, and remote antenna cabling found in traditional wireless setups.


The system’s ATW-R1440 receiver supports up to four transmitters and offers flexible installation options—units can stay docked in the half-rack chassis or be mounted remotely up to 328 feet away via Ethernet cable. Link up to five chassis with the included RJ12 cable for a robust multichannel setup, enabling simultaneous use of 20 channels. Users can toggle between Standard mode (10 channels) for minimal latency or HD mode (20 channels) for maximum capacity, tailoring performance to specific needs.


Setup and control are seamless with Audio-Technica’s Wireless Manager software, which centralizes management of multiple wireless systems (UHF, 2.4 GHz, and DECT) from a single interface. Security is ensured with AES128 encryption, while features like OLED displays on transmitters and receivers provide clear readouts of settings and alerts. The system includes paired, ready-to-use transmitters with all-day battery life, rechargeable via compatible docks (ATW-CHG3/ATW-CHG3a or ATW-CHG3N/ATW-CHG3Na).


Additional highlights include a water- and sweat-resistant cW-style connector on the body-pack transmitter, compatibility with lavalier and headworn mics, and a chassis System ID Display showing RF signal, battery levels, and link status.
