The U857QL is a premium cardioid condenser quick-mount gooseneck microphone measuring approximately 19" (481 mm) in length. It features an ultra-flexible small-diameter gooseneck for precise, stable positioning that resists inadvertent movement. The cardioid polar pattern provides superior rejection of off-axis noise and ambient sounds, ensuring focused pickup with minimal feedback. Its wide linear frequency response (30-20,000 Hz) offers natural, accurate speech reproduction free from coloration, noise, or artifacts. Advanced UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology delivers exceptional immunity to radio-frequency interference from devices like mobile phones and Wi-Fi. Reversible 3-pin XLR jacks allow flexible orientation of the microphone connector and cable exit. Powered by 11-52V phantom (passed through to the mic), it supports a wide range of mixers and preamps. The heavy-duty diecast metal construction with non-slip bottom pads ensures stability and minimizes surface vibration coupling, while the discreet low-reflectance black finish keeps visibility to a minimum.
