Auto locking yoke
The locking system works by hanging the instrument. There is no separate lever or catch to close, so the guitar is held the moment it is on the stand and stays held until you lift it off. The inner structure of the yoke is chromed zinc alloy, so the load sits on metal rather than on plastic.
Rubber where it touches the instrument
Every contact part between instrument and stand is covered with natural rubber. That does two jobs. It stops the guitar knocking against a hard edge, and it keeps the finish away from materials that can react with it over time.
Height adjustment
Height is set with a pushbutton made of chromed zinc alloy with a rubber coating, quick to work with one hand. A safety knob then fastens the setting so it does not creep back down. The adjustment joint itself is loaded nylon.
Base and legs
The base is loaded nylon on tripod legs, and the legs are covered with natural rubber so the stand keeps its footing on a smooth stage or a studio floor. The central leg carries slots for picks, a small detail that saves patting down your pockets between songs.
Folding and transport
The stand folds completely. The yoke swings back into place and is blocked there by a special safety hook, so nothing swings loose in a car boot or a gig bag.
