One handed height changes
The ergonomic clutch is designed to be worked with one hand, which is the difference between adjusting a stand mid set and having to stop and hold the mic. It carries a soft touch rubber powder coating, so it stays comfortable to grip.
The base does the work
A round base 27.5 cm across is built on a cast iron core, covered with a styled ABS top and assembled on a rubber basement. The iron supplies the mass that keeps the stand planted, the ABS keeps it looking clean, and the rubber underneath helps it stay where it is put.
Straight, not boom
A straight stand puts the microphone directly over the base, so it takes up less floor and there is no counterweight to balance. That suits vocal positions, speech and anywhere the mic is meant to stay in one place.
