Two stands in one
The boom is operated by a chromed zinc alloy push button with rubber coating, and the arm rotates through 270 degrees, so the microphone can be brought in from almost any direction without moving the base.
A base that stays put
The round base measures 27.5 cm across and is built from a cast iron core under a styled ABS top. It sits on a rubber basement, which adds acoustic isolation as well as grip, so floor noise is less likely to travel up the tube.
