Air cushioned height adjustment
Height is set with an automatic pushbutton backed up by a safety knob. The pneumatic valve is what makes the difference in handling, because the cushion of air controls the descent rather than letting the top section drop as soon as the button is released. That matters most when a speaker is already sitting on top of the stand.
Built to hold its position
The aluminium telescopic tube runs on an anti rotation groove, so a speaker set square to the audience stays square, and equidistant holes give repeatable height settings. The central joint, the legs link base and the pneumatic valve are made in loaded nylon.
Base and feet
Sturdy steel legs carry a special slot that lets the link bars close completely, which keeps the stand safe when it is up and compact when folded. Underneath, the non slip rubber feet use a design worked out specifically to cut how much vibration is passed into the floor.
