On its own the FLY 3 Vintage is a 3-watt combo with a single 3 inch speaker. Connect the included FLY 103 cabinet and the pack delivers 6 watts of stereo sound. That second speaker is what makes the pack useful beyond practice, because it also works as a premium set of stereo computer speakers with audio quality on par with the best PC speakers on the market.
Tone and effects
Two channels cover clean and overdriven sounds. Blackstar's Infinite Shape Feature opens up modern American voicings at one end and classic British character at the other, with everything in between available on the way through. A tape delay effect adds dimension to your playing, and for a 3-watt amp it hits harder than the number suggests.
Anywhere power and connections
Run it from 6 AA batteries or the included power supply. The MP3/line-in takes a phone, tablet or laptop, so you can stream a song and jam along with it, and the emulated line-out covers silent practice and recording.
