Blackstar FS-12 5-Way Footswitch for ID:Core 100 and ID:Core 150
The FS-12 gives the ID:Core 100 and ID:Core 150 the foot control they were designed for. The five switches cover preset recall, the looper and the effects, and two of them can be reassigned to whatever you use most.
- Buttons A to C: instant recall of the 36 user definable presets stored in the amp, straight out of the box.
- Buttons D and E: default to the amp's looper, and can be reprogrammed.
- Customisable over USB: connect the amp to a computer and use Blackstar's Insider software to assign reverb and delay on or off, tap tempo, a noise gate and more.
- Ext. jack: connect the FS-13 that came with your amp using a standard 1/4 inch patch cable and its two switches become user definable as well.

An ID:Core 100 or 150 holds 36 user definable presets, and without a footswitch most of them stay where you put them. The Blackstar FS-12 is the 5-way controller that brings the whole amp under your foot, including the looper and the effects.
Five switches, and two you get to define
Out of the box, buttons A to C recall the presets you have programmed into the amp. Buttons D and E default to the looper. Plug the amp into a computer over USB and open Blackstar's Insider software, and those two switches can be reassigned to a long list of duties: reverb and delay on and off, tap tempo, engaging a noise gate and more besides.
Add the FS-13 for four custom switches
The FS-12 has an Ext. jack that takes the FS-13 two button footswitch supplied with your ID:Core 100 or 150. Connect it with a standard 1/4 inch instrument patch cable and the FS-13's two switches become fully user definable, exactly like D and E. That leaves you with your presets on tap and four controls you have chosen yourself.
Built for the stage
The chassis is durable aluminium, made to keep working after years of being stood on. The layout stays streamlined enough for a crowded stage, and the display is easy to read from standing height, showing both the preset number and the amp's onboard chromatic tuner when you need to check tuning between songs.
