Description

The Blackstar HTV-412A MK III is a 4 x 12 inch closed back extension cabinet made specifically for the company's HT Venue MK III heads. It is the angled version, so the upper pair of speakers is tilted back towards the player, which is the difference between hearing your own amp on a loud stage and guessing at it.

Closed back, and four Celestions

Four Celestion Seventy 80 speakers churn out the classic British tinged tones the HT range is built around. The closed back keeps the low end tight and directional rather than letting it spill out behind the cabinet, and 320 watts of handling means the cab is not the limiting factor in the rig.

Wiring and impedance

The HTV-412A MK III can be run at 4 or 16 ohm in mono, or as 2 x 8 ohm in stereo. That covers the HT Venue MK III heads it was designed for and leaves room for other amps you may put on top of it later.

Built for the road

Construction is where a 4 x 12 earns its keep, because it is the item most likely to be dropped off the back of a van. This one uses finger locked joints and heavy duty wiring, and was built to withstand the rigours of the road.

Looks

Updated boutique styling with a premium metal logo plate gives the cabinet a bold look that matches Blackstar's HT Venue MK III amplifiers standing on it.
