The ID:60 TVP combines the feel, tone and volume of a valve amp with the flexibility only a solid state amp gives you. The headline is True Valve Power: you choose which type of output tube the amp behaves like, then store the result. Six channels sit underneath that, so this is a one amp rig rather than a clean and dirty box.

The Blackstar ID:60 TVP is a 60-watt 1 x 12 inch combo built around one idea: let the player choose the power tubes. Blackstar calls it TVP, True Valve Power, and it lets you select the kind of tube tone you want and then save the whole sound for instant recall.
Six power tube responses
True Valve Power models six of the most popular output tube types: EL84, 6V6, EL34, KT66, 6L6 and KT88. Each brings its own response, dynamics, sag and breakup characteristics, so it is closer to owning six separate valve amps than to turning a tone knob. Blend a TVP setting with the ISF control and you can build amp voices that do not exist in the shops.
ISF for the tone stack
Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature adjusts the response of the entire tone stack rather than one band of EQ. That lets you shape the amp towards classic American voicings, British ones, or a blend of the two that is your own.
Six channels and 128 sounds
Rather than the usual pair, the ID:60 TVP has six separate channels: clean warm, clean bright, crunch, super crunch, OD 1 and OD 2. That covers ballads, funk, rock and metal without a pedalboard. Once a tone is right it goes into one of 128 storable slots.

The amp responds to playing dynamics the way a valve amp does, breaking up when you dig in and cleaning up from the guitar volume control. Built-in effects and direct recording over USB round it out, and the USB interface also lets you tweak and save presets from a computer.
