Blackstar benchmarked its Pro Series cables against the highest quality cables on the market to get an uncompromised signal path. This one is 3 metres with a straight 1/4 inch jack at each end, the usual configuration for running a guitar or bass to an amp input.

A cable is the part of a rig that gets stood on, coiled badly and pulled out of a socket by the lead, and it is usually the first thing to fail. Blackstar built the Pro Series to take that treatment without dulling what passes through it. This version is 3 metres with straight 1/4 inch jacks at both ends.
What the Pro Series adds
Pro Series cables use copper tip connectors. Copper is a better conductive material than gold and the construction is more reliable, so signal transfer holds up over the life of the cable. The conductor inside is AWG21 at 99.95 percent oxygen free copper, sized for a reliable low impedance signal.
Braided shielding instead of spiral
Most low to mid level cables use spiral shielding. Blackstar uses 99 percent braided copper shielding, which is far more durable and gives better electrical insulation. Braid normally costs you flexibility, so the internal construction has been modified to keep the cable soft and easy to coil. A shield ring reduces capacitance and microphonic effect, and an insulating wire keeps noise low and RF rejection high.
Jacket and length
The 6.5mm PVC outer jacket adds flexibility and durability and helps reduce cable tangle. Three metres suits a seated studio position or a normal spot on a small stage. Blackstar also makes the Pro Series in 1.5m and 6m lengths.
Packaging
The cable is packaged in fully recyclable material to reduce its carbon footprint, and a hook and loop cable wrap is included for cable management.
