This is the long run in Blackstar's Pro Series instrument cable range, with a straight 1/4-inch jack at one end and a 90 degree angled 1/4-inch jack at the other. Blackstar benchmarked these cables against the highest quality cables on the market with the aim of an uncompromised signal path.

What separates the Pro Series
The Pro Series uses copper tip connectors rather than plated ones. Blackstar rates copper as a better conductive material than gold, and says the construction is more reliable, which matters most at the ends of a cable where failures usually start. Inside, an AWG21 conductor of 99.95 percent oxygen free copper keeps impedance low over a long run.
Built to stay quiet
Blackstar uses 99 percent braided copper shielding instead of the spiral shielding common on low to mid level cables. Braided shielding is more durable and insulates better electrically. A shield ring reduces capacitance and microphonic effect, and the insulating wire is specified for ultra low noise and high RF rejection. The internal construction has been modified so the cable stays soft and flexible despite the braid.
