TVP and the six amp tones
A high powered SHARC processor and Blackstar's patented TVP technology sit behind six in demand amp tones, with realistic approximations of each. Variable power valve emulation runs from KT66 to EL84 characteristics, which changes how the amp compresses and breaks up rather than just how it is voiced.
Tone shaping
The gain range is genuinely wide. On top of that there is an expressive EQ and ISF section, plus master Resonance and Presence controls that are accessed by holding the Tap button. Between them you can set the amp clean or heavily driven and keep the same core character.
