This is the FP88T, the touch sensitive model in pink. The keys respond to how hard you play them and it connects over Bluetooth MIDI. If you want the standard pink FP88, with unweighted keys and MIDI over USB, that is a separate listing.
Two things usually get cut when a piano is made portable: keys and touch. The FP88T keeps both. It unfolds into a full length 88-key piano with velocity sensitive keys, then folds back into a lightweight, compact shape you can carry, and it talks to a phone or tablet over Bluetooth rather than a cable.
Full size, and it responds
Eighty-eight keys means the whole range of the piano repertoire is under your hands, with no octave shifting to reach the ends of a part. Because this is the touch model, the keys are velocity sensitive and give dynamic, expressive playing, so quiet passages stay quiet and the instrument rewards control rather than flattening everything to one volume.
Hearing it
The built-in stereo speaker system means the piano works on its own with nothing connected. The stereo 3.5mm headphone output handles silent practice, and when the onboard speakers are not enough the same output can be plugged into the line-in of an external speaker.
Sounds, backings and practice tools
The built-in sound engine holds 128 voices, with 128 custom accompaniments offering a variety of playing styles to work against. The metronome has 6 accent settings, and the 30 demo songs were specially composed to offer a wide range of practice accompaniments.
Wireless, battery and what is in the box
MIDI over Bluetooth connects directly to a mobile device, which makes for a very compact portable rig. The internal Li-ion battery is USB rechargeable and gives up to 8 hours of life on a full charge. A sustain pedal and a USB charging cable are included, along with the handy travel tote bag that comes with the 88-key model.
