ES954 Hanging Microphone Array for Conference Rooms

The ES954 Hanging Microphone Array is a cost-effective, high-performance solution designed for huddle rooms, conference rooms, and other meeting spaces. Engineered for seamless integration with the ATDM-0604 Digital SmartMixer® and other compatible mixers, this quad-capsule steerable microphone array delivers exceptional audio clarity and flexibility. When paired with a compatible mixer, the ES954 provides 360° coverage through a potentially limitless number of virtual hypercardioid or cardioid pickups, adjustable in 30° increments, ensuring every speaker in the room is captured with precision. The mixer-controlled tilt function allows vertical steering to adapt to varying ceiling heights, making it versatile for diverse environments.

Installation is straightforward with the included plenum-rated AT8554 Ceiling Mount, featuring RJ45 connectors and push-type wire terminals for secure, hassle-free setup. The microphone includes a permanently attached 3.0 m (9.8') cable with a locking grommet for easy height adjustments and a seismic cable to secure the ceiling mount to drop ceiling grids. Two 46 cm (18") breakout cables are provided: one with an RJ45 (female) to three 3-pin Euroblock connector (female) and another with an RJ45 (female) to a 3-pin Euroblock connector (female) and unterminated LED conductors.

The ES954 features a logic-controlled red/green LED ring to clearly indicate mute status, enhancing user experience in professional settings. Its high-output design with low self-noise ensures strong, natural-sounding vocal reproduction, while the low-reflective white finish blends seamlessly with most ceiling tiles. Equipped with UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology, the ES954 offers outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference, ensuring clean audio capture. The microphone operates on 11V to 52V DC phantom power and includes fixed-charge back plate, permanently polarized condenser elements with omnidirectional and figure-of-eight polar patterns. With a frequency response of 20-16,000 Hz and a maximum input sound level of up to 135 dB SPL, the ES954 is built for reliable, high-quality performance.
