The dual 6.5" midwoofers utilize Focal’s "W" composite technology—two layers of woven glass fiber encasing a foam core—for a lightweight yet rigid structure with excellent damping. One woofer handles bass (40 Hz – 150 Hz), while the other focuses on mid-bass and midrange, maintaining dynamics without midrange masking. A rear switch lets users assign midrange duties to either woofer, enhancing stereo imaging flexibility. The 1" beryllium tweeter, with its low-density, high-rigidity construction, spans 1,000 Hz – 40,000 Hz, offering unmatched speed, transparency, and a wide soundstage.
Powered by 400W total amplification (300W RMS BASH for woofers, 100W RMS Class AB for the tweeter), the Twin6 Be ensures distortion-free performance at high volumes. Front laminar bass ports enhance low-end extension, while the MDF cabinet is magnetically shielded for safe placement near electronics. Connectivity includes an XLR input with adjustable sensitivity (+4 dBu/-10 dBV), and independent woofer/tweeter level controls allow room-specific tuning.
