The 8020D is a compact two-way active studio monitor designed for nearfield work in small rooms, music studios, post production suites and DAW based setups. Finished in Black.
Built to stay uncoloured
The Minimum Diffraction Enclosure is die cast aluminium with rounded edges, designed to minimise edge diffraction so the sound stays accurate rather than shaped by the cabinet. A rear bass reflex port supports the low end, and the included Iso-Pod stand isolates vibration while allowing tilt adjustment.
Power and control
A 4 inch woofer and 3/4 inch metal dome tweeter are each driven by a dedicated 50W Class-D amplifier. The Directivity Control Waveguide keeps dispersion consistent, giving a wide, accurate sweet spot rather than a single narrow seat.
The Black finish
Black is the standard finish for the 8020D, matching the rest of the 8000 Series black cabinets in a studio.
