As a variant of the renowned Genelec G Two series, this two-way active speaker features a 4.1" (105 mm) woofer for rich mids and lows, paired with a 0.75" (19 mm) metal-dome tweeter housed in Genelec’s Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) for enhanced imaging and a wider sweet spot. Powered by dual 50W Class-D amplifiers—one for each driver—this speaker delivers a peak output of 100W, achieving a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 100 dB and a frequency response of 62 Hz to 20 kHz (±2.5 dB), extendable from 56 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB).
Crafted with a die-cast aluminum Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™), the G2BRwM minimizes acoustic distortion with its curved edges and rear bass reflex port, optimized by Laminar Flow Port technology for clean, powerful bass. The unpainted RAW finish showcases the natural aluminum texture, offering a modern, industrial aesthetic designed by Finnish designer Harri Koskinen. Measuring 5.9" W x 9.5" H x 5.6" D (151 x 242 x 142 mm) with its Iso-Pod stand and weighing 7.1 lbs (3.2 kg), it’s both portable and sturdy.
The G2BRwM is engineered for versatility and ease of use. Its active design integrates amplification and an electronic crossover at 3 kHz, eliminating the need for external amps while ensuring precise driver control. Connectivity is simple with a single RCA input, compatible with TVs, computers, or streamers, and it operates on universal mains voltage (100-240 VAC). Rear DIP switches allow room response compensation—adjusting bass and treble for placement near walls or in open spaces—while Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) enhances energy efficiency by powering down after inactivity.
