The JBL 306P MkII-EU is a powered 6.5-inch two-way studio monitor engineered for music production, mixing, and critical listening in modern workspaces. As part of JBL’s renowned 3 Series MkII lineup, this monitor combines cutting-edge technology with a sleek design to deliver exceptional sound quality at an accessible price. Tailored for the European market with a 220-240V power supply, it’s ideal for audio engineers, producers, and musicians seeking professional-grade performance.
Featuring a 6.5-inch long-throw woofer and a 1-inch woven-composite neodymium tweeter, the 306P MkII-EU is powered by dual 56W Class-D amplifiers, delivering a total of 112 watts for a peak SPL of 110 dB. Its frequency response spans 47 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), with an extended range down to 39 Hz, ensuring accurate reproduction across the spectrum. The patented Image Control Waveguide, derived from JBL’s high-end monitors, provides a wide sweet spot, precise stereo imaging, and consistent off-axis response, making it adaptable to various room acoustics.
The rear-mounted Slip Stream™ port enhances low-frequency output, delivering tight, controlled bass without turbulence. Practical features include a Boundary EQ switch (-1.5 dB) to correct low-end buildup near walls and a 3-position HF trim (+2 dB, 0 dB, -2 dB) for treble customization. Connectivity is flexible with balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs, plus an input sensitivity switch (+4 dBu/-10 dBV) and detented volume control.
Built with a durable MDF enclosure finished in matte black vinyl, the monitor measures 361 mm x 224 mm x 282 mm and weighs 6.1 kg. Its magnetically shielded drivers minimize interference, while JBL’s Linear Spatial Reference design and 100-hour full-power testing ensure reliability and accuracy. The MkII upgrades—refined transducers, improved waveguide, and Boundary EQ—enhance transient response and adaptability over the original 3 Series.
Perfect for nearfield monitoring in home or professional studios, the JBL 306P MkII-EU excels at mixing, podcasting, sound design, and critical listening. Pair it with the JBL LSR310S subwoofer for deeper bass. With stunning detail, robust dynamics, and a neutral sound profile, this monitor offers exceptional value backed by JBL’s 70+ years of audio expertise.
