The JBL PRX912 is a professional-grade powered two-way 12-inch PA loudspeaker from the PRX900 Series, engineered to deliver exceptional audio performance for DJs, bands, music venues, rental houses, and corporate A/V providers. With cutting-edge acoustics, robust DSP, and a peak power of 2,000 watts (1,000W RMS) via an efficient Class D amplifier, this loudspeaker ensures crystal-clear sound, improved dispersion, and smooth low-frequency extension even at maximum volume. Its 12” ferrite magnet woofer and JBL 2408H-2 1.5" poly-annular diaphragm compression driver, paired with updated JBL image control waveguides, provide a wide 90° x 50° coverage pattern and a maximum SPL of 132 dB.

 

The PRX912 boasts a comprehensive DSP suite, accessible via an onboard color LCD or the JBL Pro Connect app, featuring a 12-band parametric EQ, dbx DriveRack technology with Automatic Feedback Suppression, a soft system limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy option, and 180ms of speaker delay for precise time alignment. The app enables full hardware and DSP control of up to 10 speakers, offering seamless integration with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 systems, plus exclusive functions like speaker snapshots and grouping. Optimized presets and G-Sensor Automatic Position Detect further enhance tuning for main or monitor use.

Built for durability, the PRX912 features a lightweight polypropylene/talcum composite cabinet with computer-modeled internal ribbing for enhanced rigidity and acoustic performance. It withstands rigorous road use, backed by JBL’s industry-leading testing protocols. With versatile I/O options (2 XLR Combo inputs, 1 3.5mm aux, 2 XLR loop-through, 1 XLR mix out), dual pole sockets, and six M10 suspension points, this 19.5 kg (43 lbs) loudspeaker is ideal for portable or installed setups.
