The JBL PRX915, part of the acclaimed PRX900 Series, redefines professional portable PA systems with cutting-edge acoustics, robust power, and intuitive control. Designed for DJs, bands, music venues, rental houses, and corporate A/V providers, this powered two-way 15-inch loudspeaker delivers exceptional sound quality in both portable and installed applications. Featuring a next-generation driver system—including a 915G 15” ferrite magnet woofer and a JBL 2408H-2 1.5” poly-annular diaphragm compression driver—this speaker is powered by ultra-efficient Class D amplification, offering 2,000 watts peak (1,000W RMS) for crystal-clear audio at maximum volume. Updated JBL image control waveguides ensure improved dispersion (90° x 50°), while a flared port design minimizes air noise and extends low-frequency response down to 48 Hz.

The PRX915 boasts a comprehensive DSP suite, accessible via an onboard color LCD or the JBL Pro Connect app. This includes a 12-band parametric EQ, dbx DriveRack technology with Automatic Feedback Suppression, a soft system limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy, and 180ms of speaker delay for precise tuning. The app enables full control of up to 10 speakers, integration with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 systems, and exclusive features like speaker snapshots and grouping. With a max SPL of 133 dB and a frequency response of 48 Hz–19 kHz (-10 dB), it’s engineered for room-filling sound.

 

Built for the road, the PRX915 features a lightweight yet rugged polypropylene/talcum composite cabinet with internal ribbing for enhanced rigidity and durability. It includes versatile I/O options (2 XLR balanced combo jacks, 1 3.5mm aux, 2 XLR loop-through, 1 XLR mix out), dual 36mm pole sockets, and six M10 suspension points. A G-Sensor optimizes tuning based on orientation, and its fanless design ensures quiet operation with ultra-low latency (<1ms). Weighing just 24.1 kg (53.1 lbs), the PRX915 combines portability with JBL’s industry-leading reliability, backed by rigorous testing protocols.
