Brown gives the C1 Air a wood finish, the version to choose when the piano must sit beside existing furniture. It is a full 88-note instrument with weighted keys, a three-pedal stand and Bluetooth audio. Home learners, teachers and returning players are the audience.
The two grands inside

Korg sampled two acoustics for the main voices, one German and one Japanese, each modelled with damper resonance. That means sympathetic ring from strings you never struck, appearing the moment the right-hand pedal goes down. Layered on top is key-off simulation, the faint noise the action makes on release. Thirty voices in three banks. Brilliance, reverb and chorus each step through three settings, while headphone players get the Stereo Sound Optimizer, which stops the image collapsing into the middle of your head.
Touch you can set
The action is Korg's RH3, a genuinely weighted hammer design running the whole way from A0 to C8. Because players differ, five touch curves are provided, so the keyboard can be made to feel lighter or firmer without changing how you play. Transpose and master tuning cover the awkward keys and the flat-pitched ensemble, with three temperaments on hand for baroque repertoire.
How loud it goes

Amplification runs to 25 watts a side, feeding two 10 cm drivers mounted in the stand. Loud in a room, controlled at the bottom end.
Learning material and the recorder
Fifty songs ship inside. Ten show off the sound banks and 40 are piano repertoire, each playable hand by hand so you can take one part yourself. Slow the tempo and loop a bar with A-B repeat. Since the two-part recorder takes up to 14,000 notes, whatever you manage can be captured, and 99 of your own pieces stay in memory.
Splits, layers and two-player mode
Pressing a pair of tone buttons together stacks voices, so strings can sit under the piano for something closer to an orchestra. One press assigns a bass sound to the low register, which is how a walking line gets going beneath a jazz right hand. Partner mode halves the keyboard into two identical ranges with a sustain pedal for each. Made for lessons and duets.
What else is in the box
Three pedals come as standard, damper, soft and sostenuto, with half positions supported on the first two. Assembled weight is 35 kg. Choose the spot before you build it. The rear panel carries line out, MIDI in and out, a pair of headphone jacks, plus sockets for the speaker box and the pedal unit, while Bluetooth A2DP receives audio so a backing track from a phone plays through the cabinet.
