This is the desktop version of the minilogue xd, Korg's four voice analogue synthesizer, with the keybed left off. It suits players who already drive their gear from a DAW, a sequencer or a separate controller. Studio desks and racks both take it happily.
Built for a desk, not a stand
Losing the keyboard cuts the footprint down to something you can slot beside a monitor or lay flat under a master keyboard. Panel controls remain out in the open where you can grab them. A dedicated keyboard switch sits among them.
Four voices, or eight in a pair
On its own the module plays four notes at a time. Connect a second minilogue xd through the poly chain function and the pair covers eight voices together. Worth knowing if you expand later.
Size and weight
The cabinet measures 500 x 179 x 85 mm and tips the scales at 2.6 kg, so it is substantial without being awkward to move. Depth is modest enough to leave room for a controller in front.
