Coveted classics, always in tune
Inside sits a deep collection of electro-mechanical, transistorised, tape-driven, analog and digital keyboards. These are the instruments that shaped decades of popular music. The tine and reed pianos are here, along with a Japanese electric grand and a rare German model, plus clavs, tone-wheel organs and vintage string machines. None of them need tuning, regulating or a technician on call. They simply work.
Plenty of pianos
At heart this is still a stage piano. One button brings up grand pianos from German, Italian, Austrian and Japanese makers. Where a smaller sound suits the room better, there are authentic Japanese and German uprights, a honky-tonk, and a genuine tack piano. Two harpsichords round it out, one French and one Italian. Play them alone, layer them, or split them across the keyboard.
Control where you need it
Because sounds live under two knobs rather than inside a menu, you can change them without looking down. Eight favourites buttons hold your own setups for instant recall. That layout earns its keep when you are switching sounds mid-set under stage lighting.
Six stages of processing
Effects run through six independent stages. Heading them is the Korg Valve Reactor and its 12AX7A vacuum tube, which supplies warmth at low drive and genuine snarl when pushed. After that come three-band equalisation, pre-effects, amp and cabinet voicings, modulation, ambience, and a final stage with stereo mastering and limiting. Each one is built to behave like the hardware it came from.
Real weighted hammer action
The RH3 keybed is graduated like a grand piano, heavier at the bottom and lighter at the top. It reads the small things you do. Eight velocity curves let you match its response to the way you actually play.
Connections for stage and studio
Balanced left and right XLR outputs run straight into a console or a stage snake, so no direct boxes are needed. Quarter-inch jacks, audio inputs and a headphone socket sit beside them. For everything else there is MIDI in and out, USB, and ports for damper and expression pedals.
