The XE20SP is Korg's XE20 ensemble piano sold as a complete set, bundled with a matching stand and a fixed three-pedal unit. Automatic accompaniment comes built in, so one player can perform with a full backing arrangement behind them. Eighty-eight weighted keys sit on top.
What the SP package covers
Choosing the SP version brings the cabinet parts as one purchase instead of separate orders. Korg matches the piano, the stand and the pedal assembly by design, so nothing has to be adapted or shimmed on site. Also in the carton are an AC adaptor and a music rest. A bench is the one item sold separately.
The stand does more than hold it up
Two horizontal plates run between the side panels and act as a structural beam, which keeps the frame steady under playing weight. That construction also closes off the lower section, hiding the player's feet the way an upright cabinet does. In a living room the result reads as furniture, not as gear on legs.
Pedals that stay put
The three-pedal unit bolts to the stand rather than sitting loose on the floor. Nothing slides away mid-piece. Damper and soft both respond to half-pedalling, so releases can be partial, and sostenuto covers the third function for classical repertoire.
Weighted action across the full range
Korg's NH action is a natural weighted hammer design, so each key carries real resistance where a spring would simply snap back. The span runs A0 to C8, matching an acoustic instrument note for note. For a student moving between home practice and a teacher's upright, that consistency matters more than any sound setting.
Footprint and moving it about
Assembled, the piano measures 1,312 mm wide, 336 mm deep and 751 mm high with the stand included and the music rest left off. Weight lands at 21 kg, light enough for two people to shift between rooms without a trolley. Depth is the figure worth checking first, since a third of a metre against a wall suits most Singapore flats.
Seating and extras
A piano bench is not part of the set. Korg lists the PC-300 (BK) and the PC-110 (BK) as matching options, both finished in black, and getting the seat height right does more for posture than most players expect.
