The EQ deserves a note of its own. Cal Perkins started from Wien Bridge topology and worked out component values that buy an extra 6dB of control, plus or minus 15 dB, without narrowing the filter bandwidth. In use that means you can push a band hard and it still sounds musical.

Multitrack recording
Recording happens over USB or directly to an SD card, at resolutions up to 24-bit/96kHz. Recording to card matters live, because it means the desk captures the multitrack without a computer sitting in a hot rack behind the stage, and the same interface hands tracks to a DAW when you are back at the studio.
Perkins EQ
Onyx mixers carry an enhanced 3-band British Style EQ derived from the circuits used in classic consoles of the 1960s and 1970s. Cal Perkins began with the Wien Bridge topology, which trades some boost and cut range for a wider and more musical Q, then specified capacitor and resistor values that recover an extra 6dB of control, plus or minus 15 dB, without excessively narrowing the bandwidth of the filters. The practical result is greater filter control, minimum phase shift and the ability to pinpoint specific frequency ranges.
