Advanced Impulse DSP
Advanced Impulse DSP is not conventional filtering. It applies FIR filtering more thoroughly to strip anomalies out of the signal, the honkiness, squelch and mushy low end that a PA speaker can otherwise add. Because the processing is applied across the whole dispersion zone, horizontally and vertically, as well as across the frequency range and the time domain, the tonal balance holds up for the people standing off to the side rather than only for the engineer at the desk. Transparent system protection keeps the amplifier and drivers safe without an audible clamp on the sound.
