$439.45 (excl. GST) $479.00 (incl. GST)

The 8/S is the supercardioid version of the Nexadyne 8. Its tighter pickup pattern is the whole point: it hears the singer and much less of everything else, which is what you want on a crowded stage or in a theatre with monitors close by.

  • Polar pattern: supercardioid, for focused vocal capture with minimal intrusion from unwanted sound sources.
  • Revonic dual-engine transducer: two transducers out of phase cancel mechanical vibration and self-noise.
  • High resistance to feedback and audial disturbance.
  • Acoustic signal optimisation for a strong response that needs less EQ correction.
  • Dent-resistant grille shielding the internals.
  • Supplied with a microphone clip stand adapter and a protective zipper case.

Choose the 8/S over the cardioid 8/C when the microphone has to work close to monitors or other performers, in a performance theatre, a presentation room or a house of worship.

Description

The Nexadyne 8/S is the dialed-in sibling of the cardioid Nexadyne 8/C. Same Revonic dual-engine transducer, tighter pattern. If you are choosing between the two, the question is simply how much of the room you want in the vocal channel.

Why supercardioid

A supercardioid pattern narrows the pickup angle, so the 8/S concentrates on the voice in front of it and keeps unwanted sound sources out of the signal. That makes it a strong handheld choice in performance theatres, presentation settings and houses of worship, particularly where wedges or other performers sit close to the vocalist.

Revonic dual-engine transducer design

The Nexadyne uses two transducers running out of phase. Mechanical vibration arrives at both and cancels, isolating self-noise interference and leaving an ultra-clear signal. The capsule's acoustic signal optimisation then delivers a stronger response with little to no ambient disturbance, so you spend less time correcting with EQ.

Confident on a loud stage

High resistance to feedback and to audial disturbances is what keeps the 8/S usable when the stage volume climbs. Build quality is aimed at countless performances rather than a handful, and the dent-resistant grille takes the physical punishment that handheld mics attract.

In the box

The 8/S ships with a microphone clip stand adapter and a protective zipper case, so it is stage ready immediately and protected between shows.
