Same SLXD14+ backbone, headworn capsule. The SM35 unidirectional headset keeps the microphone a fixed distance from the mouth however much the speaker moves, which is why it beats a lapel mic for anyone pacing a stage.

  • Microphone: SM35 unidirectional headworn, hands free.
  • Suits: lectures, presentations and other public speaking scenarios.
  • Transmitter: SLXD1+ bodypack.
  • Receiver: SLXD4+ single channel half-rackmount with a 138MHz tuning range.
  • ShowLink Ease for real-time remote control and monitoring.
  • Audio: 24-bit digital, 20Hz-20kHz, 118dB dynamic range.
  • Channels: 32 available per frequency band in most regions.
  • Band: G66.

IR scan and synchronisation make pairing quick, digital predictive switching diversity holds the signal in poor RF environments, and the receiver speaks to third-party control devices from AMX, Crestron and others.

Description

The SLXD14+/SM35 is the hands-free option in the SLXD14+ line. It pairs the SM35 unidirectional headworn microphone with an SLXD1+ bodypack and the SLXD4+ single channel receiver.

Why a headset

The SM35 sits on the head, so the capsule stays at a constant distance from the mouth no matter where the presenter walks or which way they turn. For lectures, presentations and other public speaking scenarios, that consistency is the practical advantage over a lapel mic, and it leaves both hands free for a clicker or an instrument.

The SLXD4+ receiver

The receiver occupies a half rack space and covers a 138MHz tuning range, wide enough to deploy in practically any RF environment without keeping a shelf of narrow-range alternatives. Most regions offer 32 available channels per frequency band, and IR scan and synchronisation lock transmitter and receiver together in seconds.

Remote control while the room is live

ShowLink Ease gives real-time wireless remote control and monitoring of the transmitter, letting you manage interference, scan for new channels and update the link without interrupting the speaker. You can also monitor and configure the system from a paired mobile device.

The audio underneath

Transparent 24-bit digital audio, a 20Hz-20kHz frequency range and a 118dB dynamic range deliver high-resolution detail and a strong signal-to-noise ratio. Digital predictive switching diversity keeps the signal stable even in difficult RF environments.

For installed systems

The SLXD4+ works with a wide array of third-party control devices from AMX, Crestron and others, which matters if the receiver is going into a rack that someone else has to control.

Supplied in the G66 frequency band.
