The dual channel SLX-D+ handheld system with Beta 58A capsules on both transmitters. Supercardioid pickup is what separates it from the SM58 version, and it earns its keep when two vocalists are working in front of loud wedges.

  • Capsules: Beta 58A on both handhelds, uniform supercardioid pattern.
  • Benefit: outstanding gain before feedback and superior off-axis rejection on two channels at once.
  • Receiver: SLXD4D+ 2-channel, half-rackmount.
  • Transmitters: two SLXD2+ handhelds with rugged metal construction.
  • Tuning range: 138MHz, 32 available channels per band in most regions.
  • Audio: 24-bit digital, 20Hz-20kHz, 118dB dynamic range.
  • Band: G66.

ShowLink Ease covers real-time remote control and monitoring of both transmitters, digital predictive switching diversity keeps each channel stable in poor RF conditions, and IR scan and synchronisation make pairing quick.

Description

Two channels, two Beta 58A capsules, one half-rack receiver. The SLXD24D+/B58 is the dual version of the SLX-D+ handheld system, and the supercardioid capsules are the reason to pick it over the SM58 configuration.

Two supercardioid capsules

The Beta 58A has a uniform supercardioid pattern that produces outstanding gain before feedback and superior off-axis rejection, plus a frequency response tailor-made for vocals. Doubling that up matters more than it sounds: two open vocal mics on a loud stage is exactly the situation where a tighter pattern stops the system ringing.

The SLXD4D+ receiver

Both channels live in one space-saving half-rackmount unit, so you add channel count without eating into the rack. A wide 138MHz tuning range means it can be deployed in practically any RF environment however crowded, with 32 available channels per frequency band in most regions.

Remote control over both channels

ShowLink Ease provides real-time wireless remote control and monitoring of both SLXD2+ transmitters. Interference can be managed, new channels scanned and settings updated without stopping the show, and the setup can be monitored from a paired mobile device.

Audio quality end to end

Transparent 24-bit digital audio, a 20Hz-20kHz frequency range and a 118dB dynamic range deliver high-resolution detail and an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio, while digital predictive switching diversity keeps the signal strong when the RF environment is not.

Fast to deploy

IR scan and synchronisation pair the transmitters to the receiver in seconds, and rugged metal construction on the handhelds means they can be handed to whoever is next on.

Supplied in the G66 frequency band.
