Two SM58 handhelds and one receiver. The SLXD4D+ puts both channels into a single half-rackmount unit, so a lead and a backing vocalist, or a host and a guest, take the same space a single channel system would.

  • Two channels: SLXD4D+ 2-channel receiver with two SLXD2+ handheld transmitters.
  • Capsules: SM58 on both, the industry-standard live vocal sound.
  • Space: both channels in one half-rackmount chassis.
  • Tuning range: 138MHz, with 32 available channels per band in most regions.
  • ShowLink Ease remote control and monitoring of both transmitters.
  • Audio: 24-bit digital, 20Hz-20kHz, 118dB dynamic range.
  • Band: G66.

Digital predictive switching diversity holds both signals together in poor RF environments, IR scan and synchronisation pair each transmitter quickly, and third-party control devices from AMX, Crestron and others are supported.

Description

The SLXD24D+/SM58 is the two microphone answer. Two SLXD2+ handheld transmitters with SM58 capsules pair with an SLXD4D+ 2-channel receiver, and the whole thing still only takes half a rack.

Two channels, one rack space

Getting both channels into a single half-rackmount unit is the practical case for a dual system. You raise your channel count with minimal impact on the available real estate in the rack, and you carry one power connection instead of two.

SM58 capsules on both transmitters

Both handhelds carry the SM58 capsule, arguably the industry-standard live vocal sound and famously wielded on concert stages all over the world. Rugged metal construction means the transmitters can be handed to anyone.

Wide tuning for awkward rooms

A 138MHz tuning range lets the SLXD4D+ be deployed in practically any RF environment regardless of how crowded it is, which removes the need to manage a collection of narrow-range units across different venues. Most regions provide 32 available channels per frequency band.

Control both mics from the desk

ShowLink Ease supplies real-time wireless remote control and monitoring of both SLXD2+ transmitters, so you can manage interference, scan for new channels and update settings without interrupting the performance. A paired mobile device can monitor and configure the system as well.

Sound and stability

The 2-channel receiver combines transparent 24-bit digital audio, an extended 20Hz-20kHz frequency range and an expansive 118dB dynamic range for high-resolution detail and an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio. Digital predictive switching diversity maintains a strong signal in poor RF environments, and IR scan and synchronisation make pairing fast.

Supplied in the G66 frequency band.
