The Shure SRH1840 Open-Back Over-Ear Headphones are engineered for audiophiles and mastering engineers who demand reference-quality sound and exceptional comfort. Featuring individually matched 40mm neodymium drivers with steel frames and vented center pole pieces, these headphones deliver a smooth, balanced, and highly articulate sound with accurate bass and extended, natural highs across a wide 10 Hz to 30 kHz frequency range.
The open-back earcup design creates an expansive soundstage with excellent width, depth, and realistic imaging. Built with premium materials, the SRH1840 features a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum alloy yoke and a fully adjustable dual-frame padded headband for a secure, fatigue-free fit during long listening sessions.
High-density slow-recovery foam earpads wrapped in soft velour provide outstanding comfort and breathability. The headphones use a detachable Y-style cable made from oxygen-free copper with Kevlar reinforcement and gold-plated MMCX connectors for durability and easy replacement. Two cables, an additional pair of earpads, a threaded 1/4" adapter, and a zippered storage case are included.
With 65-ohm impedance optimized for headphone amplifiers, each pair is individually tested and serialized to ensure consistent premium performance and reliability.
