The TASCAM Sonicview 16 and Sonicview 16XP are next-generation digital mixing consoles that combine stunning audio performance with an innovative three-touchscreen workflow. Built around a 96 kHz, 54-bit floating-point FPGA mixing engine, they deliver ultra-low latency of just 0.51 ms analog-to-analog and pristine internal headroom that virtually eliminates clipping.
At the heart of the Sonicview series is the revolutionary TASCAM VIEW (Visual Interactive Ergonomic Workflow) interface. Three high-resolution touchscreens (one 7-inch main + two 7-inch side screens) let you instantly switch between Overview, Channel Strip, and Multi-Effects views, putting every parameter exactly where you need it without endless menu diving.
With 44 input channels (40 mono + 2 stereo), 22 flexible output buses, a main L/R bus featuring a 31-band graphic EQ, and four premium effects returns, Sonicview 16/16XP are ready for live sound, broadcast, recording, and installed applications. The consoles include a 64-in/64-out Dante interface (with redundancy, AES67, SMPTE ST 2110, and DDM support) plus a 32-in/32-out, 32-bit/96 kHz USB audio interface perfect as a stagebox or standalone recorder interface.
The 16 mic/line inputs accept up to +32 dBu with studio-grade preamps, while 16 XLR line outputs offer fully flexible routing. Optional expansion cards bring MADI, AES/EBU, or additional analog I/O up to 128 channels total.
The Sonicview 16XP adds built-in dual DC power supply inputs for full redundancy ideal for mission-critical broadcast and live events.
Compact yet powerful (472 × 228 × 554 mm, 13 kg, 65 W), both models set a new standard for intuitive, high-resolution digital mixing.
