The TYPHON-AXF12 is a powerful 12″ bi-amplified active loudspeaker from the TYPHON-AXF Series – the next evolution of Wharfedale Pro’s acclaimed TYPHON range. Upgraded with sophisticated FIR filtering and a refined crossover design, it delivers superior sonic performance with exceptional clarity, control, and precision.
Boasting 720 Watts continuous and 1440 Watts peak power, the TYPHON-AXF12 achieves a maximum SPL of 129 dB @ 1m. It features a custom-engineered Wharfedale Pro 12″ low-frequency driver with a 2.5″ voice coil for powerful, extended bass and a 1.75″ high-frequency compression driver for crisp, detailed highs.
The advanced DSP engine provides improved bass depth, tighter phase response, and a smoother, more accurate frequency balance across the entire spectrum. Housed in the same robust polypropylene cabinet as the original Typhon-AX series, it maintains full IP54 weather resistance, multiple rigging points, and ergonomic handles for easy transport and installation.
