Vox AC15C1X 15-Watt 1x12" Tube Combo Amp with Celestion Alnico Blue Speaker
The AC15C1X is the AC15 Custom fitted with a premium Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. A 15-watt 1x12 combo aimed squarely at British chime, and at the complex, compressed grind that turns up when you push it.

Plug into the AC15C1X and you get the two-channel AC15 Custom voice running through a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. It puts out 15 watts RMS into 16 ohms, which is enough for rehearsal rooms, small stages and studio work where you want the amp working rather than idling.
Two channels, two personalities
The Normal channel keeps it simple with volume, master volume and tone cut. The Top Boost channel adds its own bass and treble controls, and that is where the amp really opens up. Balance the channel volume against the master and the AC15C1X moves from sparkling clean through to the thick, compressed overdrive this design is known for.
Tube complement
Three 12AX7 valves handle the preamp and a pair of EL84s do the work in the power section. That combination is responsible for the sustain, the touch response, and the way the amp compresses as you lean into it.
Reverb, tremolo and footswitch control
Reverb and tremolo are built in, so you are not starting from a bone-dry sound. The optional VFS2A footswitch brings them in and out hands free through the amp's footswitch jack.
Speaker and cabinet options
The internal speaker is a 16-ohm, 12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue. Round the back there is an external loudspeaker jack and an extension loudspeaker jack, so you can add a cabinet and move more air when the room asks for it.
