Vox amPlug 3 UK Drive Headphone Guitar Amp (AP3-UD)
The UK Drive is the amPlug 3 aimed squarely at classic British 100-watt stack tone. Same pocket-sized format, plugged straight into the guitar, with the gain structure set up for the big stack sound rather than for clean practice. It is an improvement on the previous version, with added features and analog solid-state circuitry doing the work.

- Format: pocket sized, improved on the previous version with added features
If the sound in your head is a British 100-watt stack, a small practice amp is usually a disappointment. The amPlug 3 UK Drive is built to close that gap. It plugs into the guitar, runs into headphones, and uses analog solid-state circuitry to get at that classic stack voice.
Two channels, two eras of gain
Channel one leans vintage, the sound of a big British amp doing what it was designed to do. Channel two is sharper and more dynamic, with a harder distortion character. Switching between them covers a surprising amount of ground for a unit this size, and because the circuitry is analog solid state, the response stays consistent rather than shifting as you dig in.
Stereo effects
Stereo effects give the sound width in headphones, which is where this amp does all of its work. Without them a headphone amp tends to sound like it is playing in the middle of your skull.
Rhythms for practice
Built-in rhythms give you something to play against, so practice sessions are not always unaccompanied.
Record video on your phone
The TRRS connection lets you plug into a smartphone and capture video with the guitar sound recorded alongside it.
Fits in a pocket
Easy to carry, easy to leave in the case. It goes wherever the guitar goes.
