Vox APC-2 Electric Guitar with Built-in Amp, Speaker and Effects, White
The APC-2 is an electric guitar with the rest of the rig built into it. Amp modelling, effects, a rhythm machine and a speaker all live in the body, so you can pick it up and play with no cables, no pedals and no amplifier.
- Pickups: dual pickup system
- Amp section: Vox analogue amp modelling
- Effects: chorus, tremolo, delay and reverb onboard
- Rhythm machine: 33 patterns across 11 genres, plus a metronome
- Speaker: wide dispersion system for room filling sound
- Body: reimagined shape inspired by the Vox Standard 25 of the 1980s
- Finish: White, also offered in Aqua Green and Black
It suits players who want to practise or write without setting anything up, and anyone who moves around a lot and would rather carry one case than three.
The Vox APC-2 merges the look of a classic Vox electric with all-in-one convenience. Dual pickups, analogue amp modelling, built-in effects, a rhythm machine and a wide dispersion speaker system are integrated into the instrument itself, so it works as a complete rig in one compact guitar.
A complete rig in the instrument
There are no cables to run, no pedalboard to arrange and no amplifier to position. The guitar produces its own amplified sound through the onboard speaker, which makes it ready to play the moment you pick it up, indoors or out.
Classic feel, modern edge
The body shape is a reimagining of the Vox Standard 25 from the 1980s, so it feels familiar in the hands while looking current. This is the White version. Aqua Green and Black are also part of the range.
Vox amp modelling and effects
Vox analogue amp modelling supplies the amp voices with warmth and character. Onboard chorus, tremolo, delay and reverb sit alongside the dual pickup system, which together cover a wide palette from smooth and mellow through to bright and biting.
A band in the body
The rhythm machine holds 33 patterns across 11 genres and adds a metronome. For practice, songwriting or a quick jam it means you always have something to play against without extra gear.
Wide dispersion speaker
The speaker system is designed for wide dispersion so the sound fills a room rather than firing in a narrow beam at whoever is standing directly in front of it.
