Description

The Clubman 60 delivers a full-range clean sound with a rich, mellow tone, and it is aimed at the guitarist who cares about that specifically. It is a two-channel, lightweight 60-watt peak amplifier designed to bring out the best in hollow and semi-hollow electric guitars, with simple controls and warm, dimensional cleans.

Korg Nutube in the preamp

The preamp section uses the Korg Nutube, a next-generation true vacuum tube that delivers the rich overtones you expect from traditional valve circuitry. It is a real tube, not a model of one, and that is what the whole amp is built around.

INPUT 1, full range and hi-fi

INPUT 1 produces a full-range hi-fi sound through a coaxial speaker with a tweeter. That combination gives warm, mellow tones for hollow and semi-hollow guitars without sacrificing nuanced dynamics or losing the accents in your playing. It is designed not to clip even at higher volumes, so the cleans stay lush at gain settings where most valve amps would break up. That is unusual.

INPUT 2, a traditional guitar amp voice

INPUT 2 is voiced with more midrange and high-mid bite, closer to a typical electric guitar amp. It is the channel to use with the built-in switchable overdrive circuit or with a drive pedal you already trust.

Chorus and reverb on board

Built-in chorus and reverb can be used together to add flavour and depth, which widens what the amp is useful for across live and recording work.

Small gigs and home recording

The Clubman 60 is built to handle small to midsize venues such as bars and clubs. For home studio work, the line out jack takes the signal straight to your interface for direct recording.
