Description

The VGH Rock is a headphone guitar amp built into a pair of headphones. Plug in your guitar and you can play at home, in the rehearsal studio or outdoors without setting anything else up. Turn the headphone power off and it works as a standard pair of headphones, which makes it useful well beyond practice.

Built-in effects add colour

Reverb, chorus and delay are on board and each effect can be adjusted, so the tone keeps presence rather than sitting flat in your ears.

Headphones that recreate the instrument

The closed-air dynamic headphone units are made by Audio-Technica. They reproduce the sound of your instrument faithfully with both loudness and a wide sonic field, and they are designed to be worn for long periods with a minimum of fatigue. The ear pads rotate for easy storage.

Valve reactor circuitry

The headphone amp circuit is based on valve reactor technology, taking impedance, efficiency and dynamic characteristics into account to reach a dynamic amp sound. The design simulates the behaviour of the original amp circuitry with entirely analogue specifications.

Built for playing, not just listening

The cable is thick and long enough to play standing up. Unlike most headphones it exits from the right ear pad, which keeps it clear of a guitar or bass, and the controls sit on the same side for easy operation. The cable is non-detachable. An AUX IN jack lets you connect a music player for a personal jam session with backing tracks. The colour scheme is predominantly black, so it blends with any guitar.
