Featuring a robust 1100W Class-D amplifier, the DXL1K achieves a peak SPL of 125 dB at 1 meter, making it one of the most powerful in its category. Its high-frequency array consists of 10 x 1.5-inch drivers in a J-curve slim line configuration, providing 170° horizontal and 30° vertical dispersion for wide, consistent coverage. The 12-inch subwoofer—largest in its class—delivers deep, distortion-free bass, enhanced by Yamaha’s Twisted Flare Port™ technology, which minimizes wind noise for cleaner low-end reproduction.

Despite its power, the DXL1K is lightweight at approximately 50 pounds, thanks to its ABS cabinet with a scratch-resistant polyurea coating. Setup is a breeze, taking just one minute by attaching the line-array speaker to the subwoofer. The unit includes a 2-channel mixer (one mic/line, one mono line input) and a Link function for expandability with the STAGEPAS 1K mkII or other mixers, supporting up to five mono and one stereo input in mono mode.
