The Yamaha DZR10/DZR10W Powered Loudspeaker is a high-performance, 2-way bi-amped active speaker engineered for professional audio applications. Delivering a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 137 dB and a frequency range of 44 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), this loudspeaker combines a 2000W peak (1300W continuous) Class-D amplifier with custom-designed transducers—a 10-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil for robust bass and a 2-inch voice coil compression driver with a titanium diaphragm for crisp highs. Available in black (DZR10) or white (DZR10W), it’s a versatile choice for live sound reinforcement, floor monitoring, DJ setups, and permanent installations.
Featuring advanced digital signal processing (DSP) with 96 kHz processing, the DZR10/DZR10W ensures low-latency, high-resolution audio. Its Advanced FIR-X tuning minimizes phase distortion for a smooth frequency response, while the D-Contour multiband compressor offers two modes: FOH/MAIN for elevated setups and MONITOR for stage use. Users can customize settings via an intuitive LCD display, adjusting EQ, delay, and presets (up to 8 user-defined). The speaker’s rugged 15mm plywood cabinet, coated with a military-grade polyurea finish, reduces vibration and withstands demanding conditions. A wide, flared port design minimizes noise at high outputs, enhancing performance.
With a rotatable 90° x 60° constant-directivity horn, multiple rigging points (M10/M8), and a 50° monitor angle, the DZR10/DZR10W adapts to any venue. Connectivity includes two combo XLR-1/4" TRS inputs, two XLR thru/outputs, and a USB port for updates. Weighing just 39.7 lbs (18 kg), its lightweight yet durable design suits both portable and fixed applications.
