At its core, the DZR12 features advanced 96 kHz DSP processing with FIR-X tuning, combining linear-phase FIR filtering and corrective EQ to eliminate phase distortion and provide precise sound imaging. The D-Contour multiband compressor offers selectable FOH/MAIN and MONITOR modes, maintaining audio consistency at high volumes. An intuitive LCD display provides access to DSP functions like parametric EQ, delay, and custom preset storage (up to 8 user presets), alongside factory presets optimized for Yamaha DXS XLF subwoofers.

 

Designed for flexibility, the DZR12 includes a rotatable 90°x60° constant directivity horn for tailored coverage, dual 35 mm pole sockets (0° or -7° tilt), and 12 M10 rigging points for suspension. Its lightweight 47.2 lbs (21.4 kg) plywood enclosure, coated in military-grade polyurea, ensures durability and portability, while a flared port minimizes noise at high output. Connectivity includes two XLR/TRS combo inputs, two XLR outputs (THRU or DSP-processed), and a USB port for settings management.
