The MS-60B+ is Zoom's MultiStomp built specifically around low end. Amp models, preamp recreations and effects are all voiced for bass rather than borrowed from a guitar pedal, and the whole rig fits in one stompbox slot.

The MS-60B+ is designed to help bassists craft the perfect low-end tone, and the difference between it and a general purpose multi-effects pedal is that every model in it was chosen with bass in mind. Realistic amp models, recreations of well-known preamps and a wide range of effects live in a single stompbox footprint.
Preamps and amp models
11 sound-shaping preamps are onboard, 8 based on some of the most widely used preamps around plus 3 Zoom originals, and they are the tool for boosting and shaping before anything else happens. On top of that sit 11 classic amps and cabinets reproduced with Zoom's multi-layer IR technology, running from powerful clean tones to warm, punchy ones. Multi-layer IR is the reason the models respond differently as you dig in, rather than sounding like one fixed snapshot of an amp.
75 effects and 85 presets
The effects list spans octaves, filters, modulations, synths, drives and more, and you can mix and match up to 6 effects, amp models and preamps at once to build a full rig inside the pedal. If you would rather start from something proven, 85 presets are based on famous songs from the 1960s to today, which is a fast way to work out how a sound you know was actually put together.
Split output for stage and PA
The split output is the feature that earns the MS-60B+ a place on a working bassist's board. It sends one signal with amp models and IRs to the PA, giving front of house a finished, cabinet-voiced tone, while sending a separate signal without them to your own amplifier, so your backline stays your backline. That removes the usual argument between a good DI sound and a good stage sound.
Circuit design
Zoom rebuilt the analogue front end with new high-fidelity circuits. The flat phase response is what produces the sharp attack and clean low end, and for bass that matters more than it does for most instruments, since phase problems in the bottom octave turn into mush before anything else gives it away.
